DALLAS, November 4, 2020 – Pro-Life Texans, a Human Coalition Action political action committee, is celebrating the state legislature victories that keep a pro-life majority, and the victories of pro-life candidates it endorsed and campaigned for in key Texas House races. Pro-Life Texans distributed campaign advertisements and voter guides, knocked on 10,000 doors and conducted thousands of robocalls along with civil rights activist Dr. Alveda King to support these candidates: Representative Jeff Leach, Representative Matt Shaheen and Representative Morgan Meyer.
“Notwithstanding the millions of dollars liberals outside of Texas poured into the state in an attempt to hijack our State House, key pro-life legislators won their races,” said Human Coalition Action State Director Chelsey Youman. “Texas now has the opportunity to continue leading the nation in defending life in the next legislative session. What has been crystal clear since 2016 is that the battle to protect the pre-born and offer lasting solutions to women in crisis happens at the state level.
