Abortion, the killing of preborn children, is the leading cause of death in America and is responsible for 1 in 3 deaths each and every day. Its destructive impacts on relationships; the family; a person’s mental, physical, and spiritual health; and the fabric of society are incalculable. It is the greatest moral, spiritual, and health crisis in the history of American society. It is genocide.

Although the pro-life movement has been working resiliently for the last 46 years to overturn Roe v. Wade and to end abortion, there has been no direct competitor to the largest abortion clinic, Planned Parenthood.

Planned Parenthood successfully invades communities across the country with its “women’s healthcare,” masking its core business of abortion by offering some level of legitimate services. Planned Parenthood is also a maniacal political machine, successfully infiltrating school districts, local municipalities, state legislatures, and the federal government, securing funding, legislation, and extraordinary influence in order to successfully expand its surgical and chemical abortion business.

Over the last decade, Human Coalition, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization, has dedicated its efforts to compete with Planned Parenthood for its core clients – women at high risk to abort their preborn children. Human Coalition successfully reaches these women, brings them into a system of holistic care, and provides compassionate, ongoing support in order to rescue their preborn children from abortion and restore their families to stability. Human Coalition started as a volunteer effort in 2009 and now the largest pro-life organization in the country.

Its national rescue system continues to grow in size, scope and effectiveness, serving tens of thousands of women a year and rescuing thousands of preborn children.

As the national rescue system continued to grow, Human Coalition began to explore other areas of culture to influence. After reviewing Planned Parenthoods culture-shaping model, researching the national and state political landscape, and hearing from donors and supporters across the country, the next step became clear.

Though the pro-life movement is passionate and innovative, it does not have a sustained, coordinated, national grassroots effort partnered with a holistic, national rescue system for children and their families.

Human Coalition Action fills this gap.

The reality of a slave who had no rights and was powerless is similar to a child in the womb whose rights are not affirmed. My hope is to point to the parallels of both movements and draw attention to the greatest injustice in our culture today.
